"For FFXI’s 20th anniversary, I wanted to commemorate my favourite job from the game, Rune Fencer. When I first started looking into FFXI more after Seekers of Adoulin came out, Rune Fencer caught my eye as a pretty unique job that I hadn’t seen in other MMOs and quickly became pretty iconic to me. So when the opportunity arose to celebrate something from FFXI, I really wanted to create a Rune Fencer illustration! I also like FFXI’s Elvaan, so I decided to feature one here too."
